JiraWork tracking & incidents

From the floor to your backlog, automatically.

Things surface during real work: a broken tool, a confusing step, a bottleneck that keeps repeating. Connect Jira and OpsBrain turns those operational events into issues with full run context, so nothing discovered on the floor dies in someone's memory.

Capabilities

What you can do

Connect with API credentials

Add your Jira site URL and an API token. OpsBrain creates issues in the project you choose.

Issues with full run context

Each issue carries the workflow, the step, who was executing, the worker's note and a link back to the run. Triage starts with the facts.

Choose which events become issues

Flags, skipped steps, bottleneck detections, abandoned runs. You decide what deserves a ticket, with filters by team, workflow or flag type.

Reliable creation

Failed API calls retry automatically with backoff, and cooldowns prevent one recurring problem from flooding the backlog.

A log you can audit

Every issue creation attempt is recorded in the delivery log, so you always know which event produced which ticket.

In practice

How teams use it

A flag becomes a maintenance ticket before the shift ends

A worker flags a hydraulic leak during an inspection run. OpsBrain opens a Jira issue in the maintenance project with the location, the step and the photo note from the run. Nobody has to remember to write it up later.

The step everyone skips becomes a project

OpsBrain notices step 7 of the dispatch workflow gets skipped in a third of runs and raises a bottleneck event. The rule opens a Jira issue for the process owner, with the runs as evidence. The fix gets prioritised on data, not anecdotes.

Abandoned runs get a follow up owner

When a run is abandoned, an issue is created so someone investigates why. Was it a staffing gap, an unclear step, a missing part? The pattern shows up in Jira where the team already plans work.

AI suggestions enter the real backlog

When an optimization suggestion is accepted in OpsBrain, a rule can open a Jira issue to implement it. Improvement work is planned next to everything else instead of living in a separate tool nobody checks.

Setup

How it works

01

Connect Jira

Add your site URL and API token, then pick the target project.

02

Choose the events

Select which events create issues and filter them by team, workflow or flag type.

03

Set the guardrails

Add cooldowns so recurring events do not flood the backlog with duplicates.

04

Test and go live

Fire a test event, check the issue it creates, and enable the rule.
